Day 1: Cochin
Begin your Tour.
Arrive into Cochin
Welcome to Vardhman's "Kerala Karnataka Tour". On arrival in Cochin, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 02: Cochin
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Cochin.
Visit Dutch Palace at Mattancherry is renowned for its wall murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana. The Jewish Synagogue at the heart of what is locally called the Jew Town. The St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. The Santa Cruz Basilica, originally built in 1557 by the Portuguese. The Chinese fishing nets are huge cantilevered fishing nets believed to have brought to Kochi by Chinese traders. Finally, the Willingdon Island, named after Lord Willingdon, is the headquarters of the Southern Naval Command of India.
Evening enjoy Kathakali dance performance.

Day 03: Cochin - Alleppey - Houseboat
This morning after breakfast drive to Alleppey, the Venice of the east. Alleppey is spread through canal’s, lake’s & lagoon’s. This is the main hub for backwater cruises.Alleppey lies between Arbian sea & Vembanad lake.
On arrival alleppey board the traditional House boat for whole day stay and staying in this moving palace is breathtakingly stimulating experience. While sailing down a maze of canals one sees different scenes from the villages, paddy fields, coconut palms, fisherman and local life. Lunch, dinner next day breakfast and tea snacks will be provided in the boat. The cool breeze from the Lake make you sleep early in the night after anchoring in a fancy place.

Day 04: Alleppey
Today will be used to closely watch backwaters lifestyle. Visit coir-making factory, a temple and bathe the elephants at elephant rearing center. Check out form the houseboat in the evening and transfer to Railway station to catch train for Bangalore.

Day 05: Alleppey - Bangalore (By train)
Arrive at Bangalore and get transfer to your hotel. Later proceed ona city tour of Bagalore.
City tour of Bangalore.
Visit Cubbon park, Lalbagh, Tipua's fort, Government museum, Venkatappa Art Gallery, Bull temple, Viswesvaraya Industrial and Technological museum, Ganesh temple, Gandhi Bhavan, Ulsoor Tank, Gavipuram Cave Temple, St. Mary's Basilica Church, Auqarium, and a number of other places around the city. This beautiful city lends its name to the district of Bangalore to which the city is perceivably the capital of the state. Bangalore is also called as Garden city due to its well laid parks and gardens.

Day 06: Bangalore-Mysore
This morning after breakfast drive to Mysore. Enroute visit Srirangapatnam.
Upon arrival at Mysore check into your hotel.

Day 07: Mysore
Today after breakfast proceed on a city tour of Mysore.
Visit The Mysore Palace, The magnificent palace built in 1897 incorporates a number of overwhelming features, Mysore Arts and Crafts Emporium, Rail Museum, Chamundi Hills. Later visit the Somanth temple.

Day 08: Mysore-Nagerhole
After breakfast drive to Nagerhole forest. Upon arrival at Nagarhole check into your hotel. Afternoon enjoy the jungle safari.

Day 09: Nagerhole
Today morning after breakfast proceed for Jungle activities to include safari, nature walk, boating Camp fire dinner, film show.

Day 10: Nagerhole-Hassan
This morning after breakfast drive to Hassan. Upon arrival at Hassan check into your hotel.
Afternoon visit Belur and Halebid Temples.

Day 11: Hassan-Hospet
This morning after breakfast drive to Hospet. Upon arrival at Hospet check into your hotel.

Day 12: Hospet
After breakfast visit Hampi. The once beautiful capital city of Vijayanagar Empire - greater than Rome, had palaces, temples & sculptures, spread all over. The city was razed to the ground by the Sultanates of South in 1565. Some of the interesting ruins remaining are the Virupaksha, Vittala and Hazara Rama temples huge Ganesha and Narasimha images, the elephant stables, the Queen's Bath, carvings on the Ramachandra temple & Lotus Mahal.

Day 13: Hospet-Badami
This morning after breakfast drive to Badami, also known as Vatapi is rich with Hindu and Jain temples carved out of sand stone hills. The carved temples date back to the 6th century. Of these, three are Hindu and one Jain. Sculptured out of solid rock they are adorned with carvings. The Fort, on top of a hill encloses large granaries, treasury & a watch tower. The Malegitti Shivalaya temple set on the summit of a hill is built of stones without mortar. Later visit Badami Caves.

Day 14: Badami
Excursion of Aihole and Pattadakal
After breakfast visit Aihole and Pattadakal.
Aihole is heart of the stone temple architecture and is the most important center of the Dravidian School of Architecture. There are about 70 temples here the oldest is the Lad Khan built in the 5th century AD. The Ravanaphadi Cave has some fine carvings. Pattadakal reached its zenith during the reign of the Chalukya kings between the 7th-9th centuries. Visit the Sanghameswara temple and the Mallikarjuna Temple, Virupaksha temple and Papanatha temple.

Day 15: Badami-Dandeli
On the day 15 of your tour drive to Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary. Afternoon enjoy the jungle safari.

Day 16: Dandeli- Goa
This morning after breakfast drive to Goa. On arrival check into your hotel.
Rest of the day free for Leisure activities on the beach.

Day 17: Goa-Mumbai-Departure
Transfer to airport for flight to Mumbai and Connection to onward destination to back home with sweet and unforgettable memories of "Kerala Karnataka Tour" escorted by Vardhman Vacations.
