Day 01 : Chennai
Begain your tour
Arrive into Chennai
Welcome to Vardhman's "South Indian Temples Tour". On arrival in Chennai, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative to your hotel.
In the afternoon proceed on a city tour of Chennai.
Visit museum to see the Art and Bronze Gallery. (Closed on Fridays and Public holidays). Drive through the Flower and Fruit market, High court, Fort Museum, Marina Beach, San Thome Cathedral and Snake Park.

Day 2 : Chennai - Tirupati
This morning after breakfast drive to Tirupati.
Tirupati is a pilgrimage destination in Andhra Pradesh, 152 km from Chennai, famous for Lord Venkateshwara (Balaji) temple visited by millions of tourists every year. Situated in the Chittoor district surrounded by Tirumala mountain ranges, Tirupati is one of the most famous shrines in the country.Visit Lord Balaji in the evening Darshan.
Upon arrival at Tirupati check into your hotel.

Day 3 : Tirupati - Chennai
After breakfast drive back to Chennai. Upon arrival at Chennai check inot your hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 4 : Chennai - Mahabalipuram
This morning after breakfast drive to Mahabalipuram. Upon arrival at Mahabalipuram check into oyur hotel.
Visit Mahabalipuram
The city of Mahabalipuram is famous for the seven pagodas. Here on the seashore is an interesting group of ancient rock hewn temples which are the examples of Dravidian style of Architecture.

Day 5 : Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram
Excursion of Kanchipuram.
Visit Kanchipuram
Kanchipuram is the ancient capital of the Pallavas famous as a city of 1000 Temples and still has 124 shrines. The first temple dedicated to Shiva was built in the 7th and 8th century and has paintings on the walls. Temples of Ekambaswara, Kailasanatha, Sri Kamakshi and Varadarajaswamy are of interest. Kanchipuram is also famous for its silks.
Evening back to Mahabalipuram.

Day 6 : Mahabalipuram - Tanjore
This morning after breakfast drive to Tanjore. Upon arrival at Tanjore check in to your hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 7 : Tanjore - Trichy - Tanjore
After breakfsat full day excursion to the city of Trichy.
Visit the ancient temples dedicated to Lord Ganapathi, 434 steps cut out into the rock side and interspersed with shrines, lead to the temple. Return back to the hotel and relax.

Day 8 : Tanjore
After breakfast proceed on a city tour of Tanjore.
Visit the Brihadeshwara Temple, a typical architecture from the 11th century. Later visit the Saraswati Mahal Library, Chola Temple etc.

Day 9 : Tanjore - Madurai
This morning after breakfast drive to Madurai. Enroute visit Karaikudi (Chettinad).
Upon arrival at Madurai check into your hotel.

Day 10 : Madurai
After breakfst proceed on a city tour of Madurai.
Visit Meenakshi temple (dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva with its towering GOPURAMS) .Watch the evening AARTI at Meenakshi Temple - THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE TOUR.. Later visit the Tirumala Nayak Palace – a gracious building in the Indo-Saracenic style, famous for the stucco work on its domes and arches and Dravidian temple complex.

Day 11 :Madurai - Rameshwaram - Madurai
This morning after breakfast full day excursion to Rameshwaram, a city of swell and gentle sand dunes, embellished with the delicacy of casurina trees and stark palms. Return to Madurai by evening.

Day 12 : Madurai - Trivandrum
After breakfast drive to Trivandrum. Upon arrival at Trivandrum check into oyur hotel.

Day 13 : Trivandrum
This morning after breakfast proceed on a city tour of Trivandrum.
Visit the Shree Padmanabha Swami Temple, Napier Museum, Chitralayam Arts Gallery, Zoological gardens, Reptile house, Observatory and Kanakakunnu Palace, Aakulam Boat Club, Veli Tourist Village.

Day 14 : Trivandrum (Departure)
This morning after breakfst transfer to the Trivandrum airport/railway station to catch flight/train for your onward destination with sweet and unforgettable memories of "South Indian Temples Tour" escorted by Vardhman Vacations.
